Sometimes we forget our skin is actually the largest organ of our body. It is classed, along with the lungs, as a secondary organ of elimination. Our skin provides many functions, but we really only think about how important it is when our skin is unhealthy or provides us with a new problem. As you know, the best solution is to take care of your skin before it shows any signs of stress. With the many actions of aloe vera including anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and antibacterial benefits, taking it internally helps clear our metabolism from the inside out ~ the only way to resolve a problem! The next step in helping our skin while we balance internally is topical applications. And, the Forever Living product line now provides a wide choice of personal care products based on their pure aloe or aloe-propolis combo.

All Forever Living skin products have aloe vera as their first ingredient, indicating the largest content is aloe. Some of their aloe skin products are enhanced with specific herbs, oils and additional moisturizers to further protect, promote and retain radiant skin health. As an introduction to this extensive line, some of my favourites are below. 

In Forever Living’s Skin Care: Body section ~ for extra skin protection or dealing with rashes or conditions like psoriasis and eczema, a thicker aloe skin application is provided with Aloe Gelly, well-absorbed into your skin quickly. And, many find the Aloe-Propolis skin cream combination particularly effective due to the antiseptic properties of bee propolis combined with the health benefits of aloe.

Another favourite is Forever Living’s ‘Signature’ product, Aloe Lotion with Jojoba, Vitamin E, Collagen and Elastin, for softening and protecting skin, especially red hands, rough feet or –  even pregnant tummies! From the Forever Living Personal Care menu, some of my favourites include, Aloe Liquid Soap  ~ a delightful product for anyone, especially helpful for those with any skin concern as this tearless soap moisturizes while gently cleansing. For the healthiest scalp and hair, try the pH balanced Aloe Jojoba Shampoo and Aloe Jojoba Conditioner, both enhanced with jojoba oil to moisturize and aid in removal of dandruff or itching. A little goes a long way!  Aloe Styling Hair Gel can complete your hair grooming without leaving a stiff residual in your hair.

Also in the Personal Care section, Gentleman’s Pride After-Shave is a pleasantly scented alcohol-free skin conditioner lotion. Its clean, masculine scent has a unique blend of lubricants and moisturizers combined with pure Aloe Vera gel.
